Hey guys
Picked up a bargain priced Country Flame pellet stove; all the numbers, etc. I find are Country Flame pellet burner 100, wh 1957 & Warlock Hersey NER QA 219 and TL 116. Also has a sticker saying built in 1991 (I think the month is October).
Anyone know anything about this stove? I called CF & they say it's so old no info is available. Going to use it in the shop. Looks in good shape; previous owner bought it used & never hooked it up.
I've got it mostly figured out except that the switch has 3 positions (rocker type). Bottom in is off; center is on; top is spring loaded & seems to be the same as center? Also on the other side there's a push button; no idea what it does (has the 2 wires going to a box near the back). There's a green light that comes on instantly (unlike my Enviro which has the green light come on once it heats up) so you can turn it to automatic; to shut down u just cut off pellet flow & it cools down & shuts the blowers off. This one don't seem to ever shut the blowers off unless you turn the switch to the down (off) position.
Any info appreciated; a copy of the manual would be great also.
Thanks!

| The control panel is an old analog board. I'm not aware of any replacement for it. Make sure you have it plugged into a surge protector and all the wires inside are insulated. The way the board is designed it won't shut off the blowers automatically, unless you turn the stove off. You might want to check out the CF website to see if they still have a manual online. |

You could oil the motor bearings with electric motor oil, check the wiring for insulation condition and then fire the stove up out of doors to see if it works. _________________ Countryside 3500P (pedestal version) used 8-9 yrs, 24/7 during days requiring heat. All original motors. Burns moldy corn, and pellets equally well. Burn it if you got it.

I've checked the website to no avail. I fired it up & it does work; installed it last week. Need to oil the motors but it'll get the acid test tomorrow; gonna be cold so I'll see how it works out. Guess I'll rig a timer to it so I can kill the pellet feed & have it kill the power somewhat later (half hour or so; I have some timers). I'll pick up a surge protector for it.
Thanks!
