i do agree with you Corny but both spelling versions are commonly used and can be found. We use your version "merde" when wishing someone good luck...almost like the english version of "Break a leg" and mine is for when well u know....my bad
-20c here going 4 wheeling to go to brunch and then come home and take the sled out...what a life

I would like to go to Australia, but I just can't imagine being on a plane for 20 hours. We have friends there that keep begging us to come and visit. Maybe if I drink a case of Bud, I could sleep half the time away.

I don't imagine it's non-stop. I think I'd probably fly from here (Detroit) to new York to maybe France and then to Oz.
My wife says...." a month of peace and quiet"..... 
My only expense would be airfare. Accomodations and transportation (motorcycles) are already there.
