I have the blower fan on auto. Last night the fan began cycling on for about a minute or so, then off for maybe 30 - 45 seconds. Prior to this, the fan was runnng pretty much all the time.
Has anyone ran into this. Not sure if I did something, or if I have a sensor issue. |

| I don't think my fire has changed much. I will call by tech person Monday. I can put the fan on manual and it will run continously. I never has this issue before. I love the cheaper heat, but it does create a few more challenges!! |

| maacac, do you have the return air hooked up to your duct work? With the recent change in temperature the return air will be pulling cooler air accross the heat exchanger. This will cool the temp probe off at a different rate. You can adjust the temperature settings that the return air (convection blower) comes on at and what temperature it turns off at, you need to take the cover off the box where the manual/auto fan switch is, under the cover you will see the different settings, don't make to big of an adjustment as you don't want to cool the heat exchanger off to much. Be carefull not damage the coil, it is very sensitive. |

Jammer,
Thanks for the feedback. My service tech came by today. He replace the fam limit control and everything seems to be back to normal now.
I also ended up with a new control board as he forgot to unplug the furnace and ended up shorting out the control board!!!! |
