We had some visitors that are attempting to set a world record driving on alternative fuels. They are using veggie oil to fuel their van. I was able to give them some home grown veggie oil. This could be my "brush with fame".

I think the record is around 24,000 Km. They are getting close.

How do they enjoy that right hand drive Mitsubishi Delica van on US roads?

Can you buy a van like that in the U.S.? It looks like it might be 4x4 too. Looks like something you would see in Australia. Neat looking rig though.

The young people are from Canada. They got the van from someone who imported it from Japan. That wrong hand drive would take a little time to get the hang of. But I have had someone try to drive from the right hand side before, I am just saying.

They are headed to New York City. They hope to get some press and maybe break the record on live TV to promote their cause of "environmental sustainability".
