Another month and the backer is doing fine. I've been running the stove hard with the cold weather. _________________ I can't grow propane! |

| Made my own board of castable that my neighbor got me. He is a glass furnace tech. Pured and made in 24 hrs. In the stove now. He knows his stuff, and working good so far. |

Where did you get your material, and what did it cost in smaller quantities?
I haved looked around and it seems to run as much as the new board at the places that I looked.
Thanks |

Ace is the place if you have one near, they will order it. I got mine here
| Code: | | http://www.elliscustomknifeworks.com/ | Used kastolite 30, 5 lbs made two boards, still running the first board after two burn seasons, looks like the day I made it. $14-$16 for 5lbs another $14 to ship it to me so for around $30 got two boards. I think ace is about $40. |
