I just installed the exhaust fan motor (purchased through the same place BLUEWOLF did ) and for those of you that have installed a new one you notice there are 3 wires. 2 black and a green ground which is already connected metal frame.
My problem is after installing the exhaust motor and starting up the stove the whole system is messed up. The exhaust fan runs on high when the unit is turned on and when the unit is turned OFF it runs on high indefintely. It never stops. As soon as I plug in the unit...it starts the exhast motor and flashes OFF on the dsiplay board. For hours on end. The system never shuts down. Also I canot access the control board self dignoses (OFF and Auger delay). I have tried switching the two black wire hook up to the system red and white wires. All to no avail.
Any one else had this problem?
No clue what to do.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
So yesterday was going to be my work on the corn stove day. Took all the motors a part and checked gears and replace exhaust fan motor. So I went ahead and unplugged the exhaust pipe on the outside of the house. ( I had the exhaust pipe sealed shut for the summer).
My wife says to be this morning. "Hey the corn stove pipe cover was off yesterday when I was out doing yard work. I put it back on for ya." Thats when it hit me what the problem was. The stove was sensing an air pressure problem since the exhaust pipe was sealed shut and stopped agitator and augor motors and told the exhaust fan to run at high. I just went out and unplugged the exhaust pipe (like I had done yesterday ) and the stove works great now. |
