Thermoplastic Maximum Temperature Limit (degF/degC)
ABS 180/80
PVC 150/65
CPVS 210/100
PE 160/70
PEX 210/100
PB 210/100
PVDF 300/150

TC, do you have access to PVDF plastic pipe? I don't even know what the stuff is, but the max temperature rating of this thermoplastic looks good.

Here are suppliers of PVDF elbows...

Canada: http://www.ctidirectory.com/search/product_company_list.cfm?prod_code=5698050

US: http://www.thomasnet.com/products/fittings-pipe-polyvinylidene-fluoride-pvdf-95928032-1.html

TC responded that the PVDS is verrrry expensive. "A 45 degree X 3" elbow is $334.93. I doubt that includes shipping. "

I'm on third season with pvc on the end of a simpson 2 ft piece outside of the house. The 2 ft Bixby piece that simpson is attached to went bad this spring. Had one more 2 ft piece of Bixby in the garage so will run it till it rots then use 3inch all the way from stove. Stove idles on one most of the time till Jan, Feb when it gets kicked up to half throttle. Laughing I still have the original outside airkit for the 6039 in house. I will use that someday again.
