| Has anyone ever bought corn that has been salvaged from a grain bin fire? Our local elevator had 163,000 bushels in a bin that caught fire. Thought about calling them to see about pricing but didn't know how it would work or the drawbacks. my only thought would be drying it again since the fire dept. was there for a week spraying water at different times while they sucked out the bin. |

Grain from bin fires is salvaged. Corn that is damaged but not burned, as long as it is dry, can be used for fuel. It may have a burned odor.
