| mikey, I don't quite understand how you are checking for air in the drop chute. If you open the door while the stove is on you loose vacuum (neg. draft) in the combustion area and won't have any air flow through the burn back air tube. If you still have a positive draft combustion motor in use this is the exact reason you don't burn pellets in a positive draft stove. You MUST install a negative draft vent kit to burn pellets. PLEASE don't try weather some people get away with it or not. You can't get to the other end of the air tube it is behind the center firewall welded in the stove. |
