I am building a corn storage box in my basement tonight and have a question about optimum size. I tried to ask this question on Corn burners, but they have not activated my acct yet.
My question is: I have designed a box that will hold around 48 bushel, but am wondering if I should maybe build it to hold what I use in a week( like 11 bushel) just to keep the corn from getting any moisture in the basement and keep it moving through my EMT system.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Boy it is great to have my bixby working good, gives me time to do all these other projects. _________________ Rick H |

| I store 200 bushels in a grain cart outside it gets hot when it is warm and cold when it freezes as long as it has been dried to the proper temp it wont hurt a thing unless you basement is a steam room. You will be using the corn so it will mix and refilling it at least once a month so there should be no problems at all. |
