I saw reference to burning dried cob, I don't think they mean with corn on it, but may be someone here has one and can clarify. These do burn hot. gasifirer with lots of air.

The way I read it, it is referring to burning dried cob corn, which would be dried corn on the cob. I know a person who burned corn on the cob in his outdoor wood furnace and said it worked great.

When I was growing up we used a Round Oak pot belly stove and remember burning corn on the cob a few times. But we normally did not have enough to feed the livestock so it was only in an emergency when we ran out of wood and could not get out to the wood stockpiled out in the woods.
