Golden Grain 1101 Power Readings
(Measured with a "Kill A Watt" power meter.)
Setting 1: auger on: 132w auger off: 116w PF .46
Setting 2: auger on: 139w auger off: 123w PF .47
Setting 3: auger on: 144w auger off: 128w PF .48
Setting 4: auger on: 157w auger off: 141w PF .50
Setting 5: auger on: 172w auger off: ( NA ) PF .51
Cold Start-up auger off, room and combustion blowers off : 112 watts with the PF briefly dropping below .30
Warm Start-up auger on, room and combustion blowers on (dial on #3): 210 watts with the PF briefly dropping below .30
My 1101 will run just fine on a 350 watt cont / 700 watt surge inverter. I was afraid I was pushing the 350 watt inverter a bit hard, so last year I switched to an 800 cont / 1600 watt surge inverter. Looks like the switch was not necessary.
