| Looks good and nicely done. I know what I would be doing with that big mouse you got there, my outdoor cats make friends with them, I don't! |

Hi Smokey
Look at your boiler picture seen that you had a shut off value on top didn't see any under the pump .If you have a shut off value on both sides then can shut water off and take pump off without drainning tank and water line. I might have missed the value.

HI Tim
There is likely a valve on the return side of the appliance -- Isolating the vessel from the load - drain a gallon and the pump will be dry to service
I would point out that there should be at least a 6 inch nipple before the pump to preclude (POSSIBLE) cavitation off the close/90/and short nipple!
but --- that would be picky and I am trying to change! _________________ When you turn your boiler on - - Does it return the favor?

| Thanks for the compliments! It was killing me not being able to see what was going on in there. Once I tried one window, I had to have more! Use lexan it bends without snapping. And yes there are two proxs top one shuts off when the barrel weight gets to around 90 lbs. and the bottom one keeps it off until the corn empties. I just turn it on and walk away, it will stop running when the bin is full. There run though a relay since the shop vac is 10 amp and the prox is something like 3-5 amp. And yes to what sting said. |

Awsome set-up, very good craftsmanship So when are you going to come over and do mine I have always been intriged by the boilers, they can heat so much. Would be nice to have for house/shop/pool etc. Do you like your boiler and if so what are pros and cons _________________ "Its a fine line between Hobby and Mental illness" |

Hi
String the shut off might be where you say. When you have to drain water to work on that wouldn't it create more space where air could get in? |
