Hello everybody.Been a while since I have posted.Lots of delays in life prevented me from buying a stove sooner but now we are just about ready. The wife dont want to be cold this winter so I figure I better get a stove real soon to get it right for the winter season.I have some barrels for corn storage on order and we went to our local TSC store to put one on layaway and they tell me they arnt getting any 6039's in this year?? But the now have a 6041.Looks just like the 6039 but a little wider and has a auto ignighter system in it,as well as an upgrated auger system to burn {non premium fuels} as they call them. I forgot to add that it comes with a fresh air intake and has a digital read out.My qustion is does anybody have one or know anything about them,I cant find anything on here about them doing a search.I think it may be a new model not sure.BTW it's $1699.00 at TSC.$500 more thant the 6039 last year. Thanks for any help.I look forward to the winter season and good corn talk with everybody.

Huh? Was there a problem with the heat exchanger?

From reading the heat exchanger isn't as efficient as it could be. Someone on here was making a replacement to get more heat out of the stove.

I have the 6041 and am familar with the 6039 as well. The main differences I can see are:
#1 Auger is now an elevated feed. Meaning that it now moves the fuel (corn/pellets) up from the hopper to a shoot, then the fuel slides down the shoot to the burnpot. Think US Stove did this to prevent possible backburn in hoppers
#2 the stirrer motor is no longer a direct drive. It is mounted toward the rear and drives a sprocket that is connected to the stirrer drive shaft via chain. This is, most likely, to prolong the life of the motor. 6039 had some issues of burned out grease in the motors from the heat of the firebox.
#3 auto igniter...although it can be mannually lit just like the 6039 without problems.
As for the heat exchanger...maybe alittle more surface area in the 6041. I think the main complaint is from people trying to heat 2500-3000 sqft houses with a unit made to heat 2000 sqft at best. I do believe bluewolf heats his 2500 sqft house without too many complaints.
