I removed a 110 volt motor off the drying bin auger and replaced it with a 220 volt (50HZ) motor - because I needed a light weight 110 motor on the pellet auger that brings fuel into the boiler room.
This is all used old junk from cast off washing machines
Well to my surprise that 50 hz motor will not pull the same load as its 110 volt sister did.
So its off to the junk yard at lunch to either find a 110 wiring harness or a 60 hz motor.
