| Hey guys, my third season with my ldj 165,000, what is the best kind of thermostat to use? I have the cheapest honeywell model that I could find, problem is it lets the temp drop 2-1/2 degrees below set temp, then when it does kick in it runs for 10 or 15 minutes then kicks out just as the furnace is just getting going, then it will kick back in 10 or 15 min later. Thing is when it does that the furnace has to warm up all over again, not too big a deal when mild out, but house temp looses ground when arctic air and wind chill is here like it is now. This is a furnace not a boiler, should have said that at first. Thanks. |

I use a Lux digital programmable tstat. I had trouble with the cheaper Honeywell tstats being very accurate. The digital one seems to be more accurate in my experience. _________________ LMF 100k Furnace
