| Ever since I loaded the 2.71 software into my Bixby the #2 & #3 lights blink more than they ever have. I was under the impression that after I loaded the new software that this would be happening less. I am burning wood pellets. Does anyone else have this problem or can you offer any advice? My settings currently are Ex-1 and Feed +1. |

The 2&3 lights signal the stove is in lean burn recovery (LBR). This means you have some tuning to do, as in richen up your A/F ratio a bit. There is a slight chance it could be from an overly rich condition as well, but your burn pot would be overflowing in short order if this were the case.
If you find the LBR mode as annoying as I do, go into BixCheck and turn it off. Set the threshold to 100%, and/or the adjustments to 0. _________________ Dave & Maria Shaw

Your stove is periodically seeing a trend of flue temperatures that decrease by more than 25%, the default LB Threshold%. You can optimize your tune to prevent this extent of flame oscillation or you can ignore it or simply increase the LB Threshold% from the default 25% to, say, 35% or 40%. _________________ Bixby 115 MaxFire.

| Can these changes be made while the stove is running? Will I harm the stove if I hook up Bixcheck while the stove is burning? |

Just be careful if you are attaching the cable to the main board
with the stove on, make sure you don't touch any of the electronics with your bare hands. You don't want to short anything out. |

Good point, Scoops! I keep my cable connected to the stove, so I need only connect/disconnect at the computer end. _________________ Bixby 115 MaxFire.
