my son has a auburn stove I have a green field, when his is burning you can see the air blowing into the burn pot and the flame burning very well. my stove does not have as much air blowing into the pot so my stove doesn't burn as well,is there something wrong with my stove?

you might need to adjust your draft if your stove isn't running right but all installations are different, sounds like he might have more draft than you also he might have too much compare your heat outputs Very Happy

I have a greenfield and it burns hot. I am using the draft setting as it came from the factory - in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" I haven't found a need to change it (is there a reason to close it down to let less air in?). I can see the air coming into the burn pot strong.

Here is a short list of other troubleshooting thoughts. Has it always burned poorly or is it a new problem? Does it happen on all settings? Does it burn poorly with pellets or just corn?. Is your corn moisture good? Have you checked that your burn pot holes are clean? Do you drop the clinker each time before restarting the stove? Are you getting too much corn in the burn pot? Are you running manual or thermostat mode? Hope these help.
