Walking Eagle
President BARACK OBAMA was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upstate New York .
He spoke for almost an hour about his plans for increasing every Native American’s present standard of living. He referred to his time as a U.S. Senator and how he had voted for every Native American issue that came to the floor of the Senate.
Although President Obama was vague about the details of his plans, he seemed most enthusiastic and spoke eloquently about his ideas for helping his “red sisters and brothers.â€
At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented Obama with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name, “Walking Eagle.†The proud President then departed in his motorcade to a fundraiser, waving to the crowds.
A news reporter later asked the group of chiefs how they came to select the new name they had given to the President.
They explained that “Walking Eagle†is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no longer fly. _________________ Seraph Industries-Genesis 106 & 108 |

| UP NORT. My take is that we have gone off the deep end and do not respect the Office of the President of the United States. Now there are jokes and jibes for Obama. Before there were jokes and jibes for Bush. Either are in bad taste. But in this day of free speech I guess it is ok. There are those who joked about Bush and thought it was OK. Now there are jokes about Obama and they are the first to complain. Strange how things are intrepreted. In reality, I get jokes like this all the time. (Both Bush and Obama) , read the email, and delete. I complain veimately about the president's policy, write often to the White House, my Senators and Repreentatives and opine how I feel. They say they will read them but have never received a reply. UP NORT |

Ever since a bunch of people voted TWICE for the cigar man, Clinton, the Presidency has been a joke around the world. This year it's even worse. It's downright embarrassing! _________________ Quadra-Fire Castile and Sante Fe inserts

From my viewpoint, both parties are sadly lacking in vision. Obama's "change you can believe in" when translated means "change the Republican party's platform for the Democrat's platform". While I stand firmly on the right with most of my ideas and beliefs, I am afraid the only change we will see from the Republicans is to change back!
Maybe Glenn Beck and his much maligned tea parties will continue to gain momentum. I don't see much else that gives me any real cause for optimism.[/u] _________________ 3500P clinker pot in house. 3500P stirrer pot and baby countryside with cast iron pot in shop.
