There are no popups on this site. I would say you have a little virus problem. Do you have some anti-virus/anti-spyware software? Are you paying for updates to that software?
The best long term solution is next time you need to buy a computer buy a Mac.

I have no pop up probs.
Install a Linux op system such as Ubuntu. It will be much more impervious to virusses. It's not as scary as it sounds. No need to repartition your computer. You can use a Wubi installer https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide to install it as a Windows Application with dual boot and without any impact whatsoever on your existing Windows files and applications. _________________ Bixby 115 MaxFire.

I have to run windoze for my programming tools, there isn't a Linux variant that will run all of them. _________________ Never trust a skinny chef

kappel15,
Glad it helped. I feel bad that I can't contribute to burning more.

Anti virus software & subscription. Rebuilding your OS because it gets whacked anyway. Data loss. I can't afford not to. |

Data? I ain't got no stinking data, lol. Seriously, I have never had much trouble with windows. You should try windows 7 one time, they are finally getting it right, took them a few years. I have 8 pc's all but one has windows 7, not a problem with any. I have one running vista, as I have a few MP3 players that will not work with windows 7....... |
