| I only have 3 speeds on the Mt Vernon. Would a snap disc cause this? No difference in noise levels between 3 highest speed and highest. |

when I have problems the first thing I usually do is unplug it for a few minutes for a good hard reset and make sure the control box hasn't vibrated loose. Then turn down the thermostat and plug it back in and let it go thru its startup. Then turn the thermostat back up and cross my fingers.
