2 light is low temp warning , have you waited long enough for the stove to do a restart on it's own?

no. i was going from the manual, which said to push the off button and then the on button after getting the blinking #2- essentially restarting the stove. this happens after a cleaning and probably almost 10 min after the stove has been running. at this point i have increased my feed rate already from my initial starting point when i first started the stove. if i wait for the stove to restart on its own- i still need to lower my feed rate back down, etc for the restart. i would like to know why i get the blinking #2 light after a good cleaning? i always need two "starts" to get the stove up and running ( after a cleaning)

Can you describe the fuel level in your pot from the time of startup?

A good cleaning will make the stove run leaner. If your trim settings were on the edge, then the cleaning could upset the balance enough to give the prob observed.

You need fuel, air and heat to support combustion. If your corn is damp, then you might have trouble igniting it on a cold startup. On the second try, the stove is warmer, and the troublsesome corn ignites easier. That's another explanation.

would think not enough fuel on startup or too much air burning up startup corn too soon, i'd try backing air down
