I have one of those Atomic Clocks that shows the inside temperature. It has always been about two degrees of from what the AE's thermostat shows for inside temperature. Usually the clock shows it to be about two degrees colder than the thermostat.
But this year there is about a six degree difference and this time the clock shows a higher temp than the thermostat. Sometimes it will feel like it is good and hot in the room but the stove is still running like gangbusters and I will look at the clock and it will say 79 degrees and the thermostat for the stove will say 73.
I can deal with just running the stove at where it feels comfortable and not depending on the temp gage but I have to wonder if the thermostat is going bad or if there is some adjustment I don't know about.
Thanks, David |
