Does anyone know where you can purchase premium hardwood pellets in Southwestern Ontario, Canada (near London). Also, any idea what the prices are like?

My company, Gildale Farms, makes and sells premium hardwood pellets. We are located in St. Marys, ON, so very close to London. We sell pellets in bag and bulk, and also have the ability to deliver if needed.

Pellet prices in this area range from $5.50 to $5.99 per 40 lb bag retail for quality hardwood pellets. Our price is $5.50 retail.

Please do not hesistate to contact me if you want to discuss this further. Our company contact information is

Thanks for getting back to me. I think that I'll be sticking to corn though as it's considerably less expensive.

I have to say that the price of pellets certainly isn't inexpensive around here, especially compared to corn (I actually don't live too far from St.Marys). It would be nice if the volume could reach a point where the price would be more on par with corn...

You might want to try Home Depot. They sell a premium low ash pellet from Alberta. Regular retail is $5.09(40 lb bag), but I negotiated a price with the manager for $3.95 if I buy a skid's worth at a time. 60 bags to a skid. I believe you won't find a better price anywhere else in Ontario. I deal with the Barrie store.
