I came across some pellets at a really good price. Anyway, they're PHOENIX High Ash pellets. The ash content is rated at 3.5%, which doesn't sound really high to me. The pellets I have left over from last year list no ash content. So, is 3.5% an issue? How does this compare to other pellets? For the price they're getting burned either way. Wink

Like you said " they are going to burn regardless"
But my pellets are 3% less ash and that is still a good deal of material!

Watch those first fires close - you will be OK!
