My husband unfortunately forgot to clean the ash pan for 4 days, the result was, the ash turned to pumice jamming the ash extractor. By the time I noticed how cold it was getting in the house our new Europa75 that I was ranting & raving about, had died. I unplugged it & cleaned it out completely of all ash & wood pellets that were crumbling. After 4 weeks of frantically searching for someone to service my Europa 75, I was able to get a technician (a mere boy) to come to my house. He said they sold 2 stoves of this model in their store but did not have training on repairing them. He was limited on his knowledge of Europa 75, however he opened the computer panel & discovered blown fuses. after replacing the fuses, he proceeded with my help to ignite the stove. It started only to blow a fuse again & again. The hopper feed & extractor did not function when the computer came on. The code on the panel when on was F5. Could someone help me, I have been trying desperately to get information from Dell Point but they are of no help. I have called every dealer in Rhode Island and I get the same answer "there is no technician that can handle Europa 75". Thank You for any help.

Someone with more experience will probably respond, but F5 is the code for jammed FEED auger, F6 is for a jammed ash extraction auger. There might be a problem with the feed auger, make sure it is not jammed.

Yash, welcome to the forum. Sorry for your prediciment. That happens. If poster "naturesheat" (Mike and Barb) doesn't see this right away, try sending them a PM (the Message button above). They sell and service the Europa 75. Should be able to help you.

Yash,
We just got home from the high school football game. Give us a call tomorrow and we can probably get your stove up and going again.

Can I jump in here? I'm having the same problem as YASH but I made a mistake in removing the fuses before documenting which one went where. There are 3 fuses (F21, F17 and F23). Does anyone know what each of the fuses is for and what the correct fuse should be for each? I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

This all started with an F5 error (Feed Auger). I've cleared the auger as best I can with a vacuum cleaner but am afraid I will have to dismantle the assembly to check further. We don't burn much corn in the Northwest due to the plentiful nature of wood products but I'm starting to get acquainted with my stove reading about the experiences you all are having with your Europa GF75's.

Thanks but the fuse size is not the problem. I need to know which fuse goes in each of the fuse sockets (F21, F17 and F23). The owners manual has no information regarding this. I should have marked each one as I took them out...lesson learned the hard way.

NW Corner, if you have an ohm meter maybe you can find which fuse holder is which. There is some confusion in the links about the fuse values. I think there are two fuses that are 500 milliamp, not 5 milliamp. Or 1/2 amp. They must be those tiny 5 mm dia. ones. If you test the resistance between an end of a fuse holder and the hot leads to either of the auger motor or the ash extraction motor you can find which holder goes to which motor. The two holders to the motors are the 1/2 amp. The 10 amp fuse must go in the remaining holder.

tallcorn was right on with his suggestions.

There are two fuses on the back of the board on the right side. These two fuses are the 500 milliamp (or 1/2 amp). The top one is for the feed auger and the bottom one is for the ash auger.
Easy way to remember is feed auger is above the ash auger on the stove.
The remaining fuse is the 10 amp fuse that powers the entire system.
The error codes are F5 and F6, with F5 being the feed motor and F6 the ash motor.
The 1/2 amp has a very small hairlike fuse wire in it.

Good luck

Thanks lowcostheat. I figured you would know where the fuses would go. Too bad they don't label the board. The manual shows a good graphic of the front side of the board. A picture of the fuse location would be nice.

Hey, TC have you had the privelige of changing boards on the Quad AE? All the plug-ins are different so you can't put them in wrong, but there must be close to 20 on there.
