You can't just use your shopvac to clean up a corn burner unless you are positive that the fire is totally out and cold. Hot corn ash, sucked into a shop vac, is an excellent way to start a fire. There are several products on the market such as the Cougar and Cheetah Ash Vacuums. Of the two, the Cougar is quieter, but more expensive.
