A room that only has one door into the rest of the living space. Rooms such as this are a special problem for people using corn burning stoves to heat a whole house. A dead-end room, with it's only one door, allows only very limited convection, so warm air from the part of the house being heating will not naturally move into this room. You need some Heat Circulation device, such as a fan to force warm air into this room.
