Exhaust Fan

To clear out the ash in the stove while cleaning:

Turn the thermostat all the way off and let the stove cool down. When you are ready to clean it, turn the thermostat all the way up for just a second and then turn it all the way off again. This activates the fan on the unit for a few minutes. While the fan is running it will pull most of the dust you create cleaning out the exhaust instead of letting it out into your room.

For the Bixby stove, the exhaust fan comes on automatically whenever its door is opened, as long as the stove is plugged into the ac power.
