First Fire
From Cornburning
Don't be alarmed but the first several times you start a fire in your corn burner there is going to be considerable smell. That is just the odor of the new paint being baked. The smell eventually goes away. It is quite unpleasent though and it could be a good idea to do a "pre-burn" by setting the stove up outside and burning some corn in it for a few hours. It would even be a good idea to attach the vent pipes and let them get good and hot too.
