Corn stoves sit in one room but if you are thinking of heating a whole house from one stove you need to think about some ways to move heat around. These fans will provide some circulation.

First, a fan that sits on top of your freestanding stove. This fan will circulate air within one room.

Attach a heat reclaimer to your stove pipe to help capture the heat escaping through your chimney. By circulating the flue pipe's heat, a heat reclaimer increases the level of warmth obtained from your wood or coal burning stove.
