Positive Pressure

From Cornburning

Jump to: navigation, search

Some stoves such as Snowflames have air blowing into the fire chamber which creates positive pressure. If you open the door with out turning the stove off it WILL blow ash out into the house. To remove the clinker turn off fuel feed then wait until the flames are only about an inch or so high, turn off the stove and all blowers will shut down. Open the door, pry up corner of clinker and pick up the clinker with tongs, dump all glowing red corn back into the fire pot, remove the clinker, shut the door, turn stove back to on, set fuel feed to desired setting and the stove is off and running.[[Category:Maintenance
