Many wood pellet stoves can not burn corn because in many stoves it will damage the burn pot which is designed to burn the cooler burning wood pellets. Wheat Pelletsare an alternative to wood pellets, that can be quite rare during the winter heating months. If a stove owner is unable to burn straight corn, a combination of corn and wheat pellets may be an alternative. Wheat pellets are made from waste material that is incurred when processing of the wheat into its useable form.
